Things to do at Breakaway
- Breakaway Adventure Center – Breakaway Adventure Center offers whitewater rafting, hiking, fly fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, paint your own pottery, tie dying and much more. Contact (828) 689-2020 for more information.

- 26 West Mountain Bike Park – 26 West Mountain Bike Park, the Southeast's only lift-assisted mountain bike park will open May 30th at Breakaway Village. The park will debut with the upper 7 trails, ranging from beginner to advanced, as well as a dedicated freeride area. An additional 3 trails are under construction and are scheduled to be open later in the year. For 2009, 26 West Mountain Bike Park will continue to expand the freeride area and build more beginner, intermediate and advanced level trails. Call (828) 689-2020 for more information.
